Shamanic Womb Massage
Womb Healing with Sobada
Sobada, also known as womb or abdominal massage, is a gentle, nurturing practice rooted in traditional indigenous Mesoamerican traditions. It focuses on the abdomen, womb, and sacral area, where physical tension, emotional experiences, and energetic imbalances may be held.
The nurturing abdominal and womb massage encourages circulation, releases tension, and supports balance within the reproductive system. Spiritually, it helps awaken the sacral chakra, release stored emotions, and reconnect you with your feminine energy, creativity, and inner wisdom. This is a sacred journey back to your womb and to yourself. Sobada is an energetic form of healing transmitted through oral tradition and through lived experience.
Sobada restores balance in the womb caused by emotional wounds, energetic imbalances, or ancestral imprints. After the session, body mind, and spirit are brought back into balance, and the body and the soul start remembering their natural order.
Working the Cycle
Working in a series of 3 sessions between the bleeds follows and reflects the natural cycle of the womb: opening, clearing and restoring. After the 3 healing womb sessions the body can return to its natural state of balance.
Sobada Healing Womb Massage
Through intentional touch and rhythmic massage techniques, Sobada encourages relaxation, supports healthy circulation, and helps soften tension in the abdominal and pelvic regions. The purpose of the treatment is to nurture the womb, restore a sense of balance, and deepen the connection within.
On a spiritual level, Sobada may support the awakening and balancing of the sacral chakra, the energetic center associated with creativity, sensuality, emotions, relationships, pleasure, and feminine power. The healing session creates a sacred space to reconnect with the womb, release emotional heaviness, and cultivate greater self-love, grounding, and inner awareness.

An offering that, on its own, is a great place to begin-
Like any other practice, a single massage can be very nurturing; however, if you have a specific intention, I recommend doing the full set of 3 massages and then continuing as needed. This is a journey of self-discovery back to your true essence and connection with the divine feminine energy that lives and flows through you. I have clients that have bought 4 massage trios because they are still working on reclaiming their sensuality or self-love.
